About the Author
DC Alden is a UK-based thriller writer, filmmaker and screenwriter. Born in London, DC’s career has encompassed a variety of roles, from soldier to technical consultant, including work on many popular films and TV shows. As well as writing, DC has always loved the movies. Answering a call for former soldiers, he worked for eight months on HBO’s BAND OF BROTHERS, alongside industry heavyweights such as Stephen Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Damien Lewis, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy. The experience reignited his lifelong passion for film and screenwriting, and a few months later he was enrolled at a London film school, making several short films and a documentary about life on set (BAND OF BROTHERS – AN EXTRA’S LIFE), using previously unseen footage. DC has also written, produced and directed live action trailers for his forthcoming thrillers THE ANGOLA DECEPTION and FORTRESS, and continues to work on various writing and film projects. On Writing His first novel INVASION was an idea conceived whilst undertaking research for a short film script. A military thriller, set in a world of failing western economies threatened by a united Islamic super-state, INVASION sold out its entire print run in three months and continues to garner strong reviews on Amazon.
